Ogden City Street Railroad Trolley Car

2011

 I painted this to be displayed in an art show at the Ogden city Union station August 2011. The Ogden Street Railroad was started in 1888.It was started with 10 miles of tracks. Eventually this train ran out to Crystal Hot Springs. The street train ran for 10 years then was bought out by investors, who brought in buses.

This trolley was stored out at the Ogden Business Depot, Northwest of Ogden city. Mt Ben Lomand is in the background.

I completed this in the fall of 2011. I love this frame, it goes so well with the moth. Yes, this is a moth and not a butterfly. This is mounted on my dark, dark brown wall. Good contrast.

Foot Bridge 2010

This is from a picture I took while camping in Filmore. We drove and drove up in the mountains and found this picnic area.

 Oregon Coast 2010

This picture was taken from a photograph I took while vacation to in Oregon. This is at a state park on the central Oregon coast.

 Hacienda 2010

BJ and I went to Phoenix in 2010. I loved the flowers. The bright colors were amazing. When I got back I wanted to paint a picture with those flowers and the flavor of that part of the country. So this is a combination of several things.

 Capitol Reef 2010

Utah has many amazing places to visit. I love to take pictures when ever BJ and I drive places. This is one of those pictures that I could not take so I found one of Capitol Reef that I really liked and painted that.
